Chile Lindo Delicatessen & Coffee Shop is a classic, South American style gourmet delicatessen and coffee shop—in other words, an old-fashioned European style café or salón de té. Chile’s staple cuisine derives from numerous waves of European immigrants to South America whose traditions and customs have survived over the centuries. This quaint storefront is positioned in the historic landmark formerly known as the “San Francisco Labor Temple,” and presently called “The Redstone Building.” It is located in San Francisco’s Mission District.
Our menu offers artesanal, home-style cooking, comprised of nothing but top quality ingredients, bought locally, and adhering to sustainable farming principles. We specialize in baked empanadas. Our beef empanadas are prepared with Niman Ranch beef and cage free eggs; and our vegan recipes are cooked with the meat-like consistency product, Yves Meatless Ground.
The Chile Lindo Project, founded by Paula Tejeda, offers cross-cultural consulting services, in collaboration with a highly qualified team of consultants, under the direction of its founder’s exceptional multicultural skills and experience related to Latin America and the U.S. Tejeda’s areas of expertise include community outreach, marketing, public relations, and event production.
